2020 marks the 700th anniversary of the Declaration of Arbroath, one of the most significant proclamations in Scottish history. The Declaration of Arbroath is a letter written in 1320 and is believed to have been written under the supervision of Bernard Abbot of Arbroath.

Scottish weavers Ingles Buchan have designed this tartan to celebrate Abbot Bernard and the 700th anniversary.
