CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE
Following a stringent risk assessment process we have reopened our online shop distribution with our full product range now available again to online customers.
As the current Covid-19 situation continues, the health and wellbeing of our staff remains paramount and we have put in place the required social distancing and hygiene measures to ensure a safe working environment.
We’re looking forward to engaging with our customers and supporting our suppliers again through the HES Online Shop.
Please see last orders dates below for delivery before Christmas:
Orders to the UK: Monday 21st December before 2pm
Orders to Australia: Tuesday 15th December before 2pm
Orders to everywhere else: Friday 18th December before 2pm

UPS operations will continue as normal, except where constrained by government restrictions.

All of our orders are delivered by the United Parcel Service (UPS) excluding products which are despatched directly from our supplier as noted in the product description, which may be sent by alternative couriers.
We aim to dispatch orders received before 2:00pm on a working day (Mon-Fri) on the same day. However, some orders may take up to two working days to dispatch.
Please note orders placed over weekends, public holidays and bank holidays will be dispatched the next working day.
Certain products may have a longer delivery time, which will be noted in the product description.
Please note, there may be longer delivery times during periods when promotions are running, please allow for this.
Free Delivery on Book Orders to the UK
We are offering free delivery when ordering any of our books to a UK delivery address. Official Souvenir Guidebooks and Leaflets are excluded from this offer.
The delivery charge will automatically be deducted at the checkout.
Christmas Delivery - for UK outlying postcodes, please order by 2pm on 17th December for Christmas delivery. Rest of UK: 2pm 21st December.
Alcohol is only available for delivery within the UK and can only be delivered to a person over 18 years old.
ID will be requested from the delivery provider at the time of delivery to ensure this is received by someone 18 years old or over and delivery will be refused if ID is not available.
Christmas Delivery - please order by 2pm on 15th December for Christmas delivery.
Please allow up to 7 days delivery in addition to our standard delivery time for orders containing a Lochcarron product. Orders containing a Lochcarron product are dispatched once a week.
Christmas Delivery - please order by 2pm on 11th December for Christmas delivery.
Any orders containing a Tapestry incur an additional £12 delivery fee due to the nature and weight of this item.
Delivery of this item is direct from the supplier and may take up to 3-5 working days for orders within the UK and 7-10 working days outside the UK. Please note that other purchases made in the same transaction from our online shop will be delivered separately as per our normal delivery times.
Ortak jewellery Orders
Delivery of our Maeshowe Ortak Jewellery is shipped direct from our supplier by Royal Mail and will have extended delivery times.

Please ensure a contact phone number is entered in your delivery address details otherwise we will not be able to dispatch your order.
Please note additional delivery costs may apply to certain products.
The majority of our online products are available for delivery to the destinations advised in Where We Deliver, however some exclusions apply.
This will be noted in the product description and at the checkout stage if applies to the destination country selected for delivery.
Once your order has been dispatched you will be sent an email notification with a tracking number.
You can track your order using the tracking number provided in your order dispatch confirmation email through the UPS website or the Royal Mail website.
Receiving Your Delivery
Once your order has been dispatched it will be delivered as per the delivery times for your chosen destination in the table as described in the Where we deliver section.
If you are not in to receive your parcel, UPS will leave an Info Notice to rearrange delivery. For more information, please visit the UPS website or the Royal Mail website.
If you have any special delivery requirements, or any further questions regarding the information above. Please contact us to discuss arrangements and any additional costs prior to placing your order. Once an order has been dispatched no changes can be made.
If your delivery address is out with the United Kingdom, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any charges such as this for customs clearance must be borne by you.
Please note we cannot refund any customs charges in the case of returns, however you may be able to claim this back through your local customs office.
