This official souvenir guide tells the story of Edzell Castle, a traditional 16th century tower-house.
This structure saw very little fighting and was more of a country retreat than a place of military significance. Built by the Lindsays, Earls of Crawford, it eventually came under the care of the Earls of Dalhousie. They own it to this day.
