St John's Cross Pendant - Silver

Handmade in Scotland, the Iona Maclean's Cross Pendant has been crafted from Sterling Silver and hangs on a 18 inch chain. Inspired by the Cross of St John which dates back to the 8th Century, this beautifully intricate piece has a wonderful historical story to tell and would make a perfect gift for anyone who has visited the Isle of Iona. 

The original remaining pieces of the Cross which were made in honour of John the Evangelist, can be seen at the Iona Church Museum. It's replica which has stood since the early 1970's, still offers a place of prayer and pilgrimage to many.
